Javelin Slugs Gen 2

Deze Javelin Slugs Gen 2. (.218) 5.5mm zijn gesmeed en niet gegoten. Het grote voordeel hiervan is dat ze nog meer uniformiteit in de vorm hebben en een zeer goede consistentie in de dichtheid waardoor de balans nog beter is. Deze slugs staan erom bekend dat ze uitermate glad zijn afgewerkt en in combinatie met de kogelvorm en de nette afgewerkte voorkant wordt een zeer goede ballistische coëfficiënt behaald. Hiermee zijn de slugs een stuk minder gevoelig voor bijvoorbeeld de wind. Het zachte lood in combinatie met de holle punt zorgen ervoor dat de slugs bij de inslag zeer snel deformeren, zodat een explosieve impact gegarandeerd wordt. Deze slugs zijn in Zuid-Afrika ontwikkeld door experts in zowel het veld als op de schietbaan.
